Photo/edit: Marie Danielsen (me)
Proud to share the last bunch of photos from my shoot with Kate! I’m really happy with how they turned out and can’t wait to do another shoot with her. So easy when the person you’re photographing knows how to pose to create cool photos.

Oh, wow, I really took way to many photos on this trip! Have to make a part I and II from the last day, so it doesn’t seem like so much. It’s not that easy to limit yourself when there is so much beautiful stuff to photograph!
The last day of the trip was finally here, and we still had the best weather we could possible wish for! Went looking for Nessie in Loch Ness without any luck, bought a lot of sweets and went to the place where the battle of Culloden found place in 1746. If you want, you can read more about this battle here. It made a strong impression on us.
The rest of the day will be posted in another post later this week!

“NORWAAAAAAY!”
Day two! The liquid sunshine disappeared and left us with some real sun and nice temperatures. We left the hostel and Loch Ness early in the morning, heading for the Isle of Skye! We were told that Skye most likely would be a rather cold and misty experience, but to our big surprise (and the guide who couldn’t stop saying “oh my god, a very, very nice day indeed”) instead of fog and cold we were met with sunshine and warmth! Hurray!
We stopped in a tiny town for lunch, and me and my sunshine went on our own walk discovering this old tower of some sort with the most amazing view. A perfect place to act like the Vikings we are and scream “Norwaaay”!

It seems like no matter where you go, there is some enormous castle hiding behind the next turn. It is so pretty here, I still walk around like a tourist with my camera, taking pictures of every single building. We had some nice days now with sun and that great autumn air, which is perfect for taking lang walks and exploring the city even more.
I moved this week to a self catered accommodation and got four amazing flat mates! So happy right now, this was what I wanted the whole time. I can finally make my own food and eat whenever I want!

Yesterday was such an amazing day. The weather was so nice with just the right temperature as well, in other words: a perfect go-for-a-walk-with-my-camera-day! Since I’m still at Pollock Halls I thought I’d check out the enormous chain of mountains that I look at every day from my room: Arthur’s seat. This is the remains of an extinct volcano, which is kind of cool.
This was such a nice walk, I enjoyed every second of it. It’s not a hard climb at all, the mountain itself is no more than 250 m in height, and there are so many paths to follow. But if you want to advance it a bit, you can always do what I did and walk everywhere else than where the paths went. It was really windy at the top, which made my self-portrait shoot a bit hard when I tried to use the timer. I looked like a crazy person running from the camera and over to the place where I put the focus. Almost tripped once, that gave me a near death-experience-feeling when looking down the steep hill.
It seems like autumn is finally arriving. I can’t wait to take this trip again when all the beautiful autumn colors starts to spark.
