Been back in Edinburgh for a week now, time flies by so fast! Already got so much work to do, so this semester will be a stressful one, I fear. Finally doing some more animal related courses, though, so it’s very interesting!

Happy New year everyone!
Still no snow here in Norway, only rain, rain and rain (much like Edinburgh!). My dad will be back from the North Sea in a couple of days, which means there will be more time to go hiking and take photos 🙂 Can’t wait!

Merry Christmas everyone!
So, since the weather here in Norway is anything but white and beautiful, I went ahead and dug up some photos I took earlier this semester. These are from my trip to the botanic garden in Edinburgh, which was such an amazing place! I loved it so much that I’ve been back a couple of times already to take some more photos, and in the end ended up with a couple of hundred pictures. So here’s just a few that I’ve had time to edit so far. I hope people don’t find flowers too boring, haha. Hopefully there will be some snow before I head back to Edinburgh again, if it is, then I’ll definitely post some pictures here!

Oh, how beautiful the Norwegian winter is…. every year but this year.
All the photos are from previous years, because this year there’s only rain, rain, rain and wind. So much for the Christmas spirit and making snowmen and snow angels.

It’s been a great week with good old friends visiting me in Edinburgh, both from France and America. So nice to be with people that know you well and care about you, this was a much needed break from a semester which has mostly been all about studying. We had tons of tasty food, laughs and jokes, shopping, several visits to pubs with mandatory jega games, and of course Japanese drinking games! Pepper Yamyam (no idea how to write that)! Even got time for a little photo shoot with my beautiful french girls, which I will post here soon! They turned out so nice, even with the weather being really cold and windy.
Now it’s 100% revision mode on until I head back to Norway for Christmas! Can’t wait to come home to white snow and home made meals and be with my family again. I will definitely take a lot of photos in Norway and post them here, so stay tuned! (:

Got a Christmas gift calendar in the mail yesterday from my parents back in Norway! I always feel like a little girl again when Christmas is around the corner and I get my calendar, don’t think I’ll ever grow too old for this!

The exams are coming up; I’m stressed out and find myself struggling to balance my time right. Can’t wait to go back home for Christmas and see my friends and family again! Just three weeks now, but also three exams before that as well…

Went and bought myself a miniature Christmas tree for my room, just to get a hint of that Christmas spirit! Such a cute little tree, it makes me happy just to look at it. It is finally getting colder here, even though the nature still looks a lot like autumn would look in Norway. Would be awesome with a bit of snow, crossing my fingers*.
