Just some very improvised pictures I took the other day while tidying my room (everything is more fun than that, am I right?). The light in my room is perfect for some nice natural light-portraits, so in the lack of a better model, I went ahead and took a few “selfies” using my 35 mm lens and the timer.
Hurray for longer days, hurray for more and more sunlight, hurray for spring!
Hi, thanks for liking my recent entries. Edinburgh is an amazingly photogenic city, as evident by your photos. Thanks for sharing them.
Kind regards,
Simon
I’ve tried this myself with my 50mm, but I find it hard to work out where to focus before popping back in front of the camera. It was mostly guesswork for me! Any tips would be appreciated 🙂
I actually placed a teddy bear in the focus, then put the timer on and replaced myself with the teddy! Pretty amateur way of doing it, but it worked well enough!
Ah, cunning! Did you make the teddy wear the sunglasses too? 🙂
Haha, noo, but should have! That would probably have been an even cooler picture!
I loooove your sunglasses! (And lovely photos as well!)
Thank you! 😀
