Went to the zoo with one of my friends this week, hoping to get some great pictures of all the animals. Unfortunately, most of the animals were either sleeping or… not there. A lot of empty cages made the day into something that could remind us of a game of “hide and seek”. The animals were hiding, and we couldn’t find them. Also, most of the animals had very limited space, which made me kind of sad. I’m used to the amazing zoo in Kristiansand, where the all the animals have huuuuge areas.
Anyways! It was a nice day, and we did get to se the giant panda (you have to book an appointment to meet the panda!), and we had a good time in the quest of finding the animals.
Don’t think I will go back, though. I prefer them in their wild habitat, not in a 5×5 m cage.
All great shots; my fav is that beautiful bold blue bird! Appreciate your recent visit to my photography blog! 🙂
GØYGØYGØY! Må reise sammen dit når jeg kommer på besøk en gang :L
hi there! i can see we have quite a bit in common – nice job on the zoo pics!
The pandas are great. It’s a bit of a walk to the top but worth it for the view.
I don’t particularly like seeing them in cages either. Nice pics though.
No, visiting Edinburgh zoo was a big disappointment. All the animals were stressed and depressed. They are much better out in the wild!
